Job Description:
This position assists with receiving, storing and issuing all food and food-related items in the storeroom at The Hotel Hershey.
Job Functions:
- This position assists with receiving, storing and issuing all food and food-related items while maintaining a clean and orderly operation.
- Receiving and issuing requisitioned items from the storeroom
- Ensuring that food and related items are delivered to their areas prior to need
- Cleaning and maintaining all storeroom areas, including refrigerators, freezers, dry storage and receiving area
- Keeping food storage, dry goods and paper storage areas in excellent condition
- Assuring that all items are always in their proper place, and assisting in periodic inventories every month.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and use computers and PCs.
- Proven ability to communicate in English.
- Proven math skills.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule to include weekends.
- Must provide proper footwear.
